Do you have to be able to read music to sing in the choir?

It is not necessary: ​​knowing how to read the score is very useful, but the Director provides the recording, for each voice, of the pieces in the studio. This helps a lot with revision at home and individual study.

Are the weekly rehearsals enough to prepare for singing?

The weekly rehearsal is fundamental: the work of harmonizing the voices and interpreting the piece is carried out regularly with weekly rehearsals. In addition, individual study is necessary to gain familiarity with the piece being studied and to consolidate what has been done in rehearsal.
